At VALID, our aim for people with a disability is:
“full and effective participation and inclusion in society” *
Can you help us achieve it?
Since 1989, VALID has been on the front lines of disability advocacy in Victoria – pushing for change and fighting for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities.
We receive government funding to advocate for individuals, train people as self-advocates and run community programs, but nothing for systemic advocacy.
Systemic advocacy can make a huge difference – potentially changing the lives not of one person but all people with intellectual disabilities.
Will you help make VALID a strong voice for the human rights of people with disabilities?
Your donation will fund our systemic advocacy – the vital ingredient needed to break through persistent barriers to inclusion and participation.
VALID is a registered charity, so all funds must be used for our charitable purposes.
We’re also a Deductible Gift Recipient – so all donations over $2 are fully tax deductible.
Donating is easy – just click here. Any problems or questions, call us on 9416 4003.
